Because...

Very few medical practitioners are specifically trained in concussion management. There are a variety of specialised tests that need to be performed to identify which, if any,  brain systems have been affected. Accurate assessment is crucial to ensure effective treatment. 

Very few clinics have invested the significant financial capital to obtain the most relevant technology to assess and treat concussion and fewer still have traveled overseas to gain first hand, practical skills and knowledge to insure that the  assessments and treatments they utilise are "Worlds Best Practice". 

We are the only clinic in NSW that has the Multi-Cervical unit which can accurately and objectively test neck muscle strength. Damage to  the  neck muscles is very common in concussion and other traumas such as whiplash. 

We are one of only two centres in NSW that is home to the Biodex Balance System, which provides visual real-time feedback on posture and balance control. The Vestibular system (Balance system) is frequently effected following a concussion.

We also have an established network of world leaders in the area of concussion research, meaning we have rapid access to the latest information in this area.
